Chef Gelar Edhi Wibowo
Born in Surakarta, Chef Gelar is a culinary maven who graduated with a Diploma's Degree in Food Production Management from Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Bandung. His culinary journey kicked off as a cook helper in Bandung, and he later expanded his horizons with experiences at distinguished venues in Kuala Lumpur, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai.
In 2015, Chef Gelar returned to his roots and assumed the role of Executive Chef in several hotels in Indonesia. Renowned for his expertise in Indonesian Progresif Fusion Cuisine, Chef Gelar seamlessly blends traditional Indonesian flavors with progressive culinary techniques. His culinary specialty extends to Indian, Asian, and Western cuisines, showcasing a diverse palette of tastes and textures.
Now, Chef Gelar is on a culinary expedition with the dynamic team at Aloft Bali Kuta at Beachwalk, where he contributes his innovative expertise to the island's sassiest culinary creations.
