Terms and Conditions – Marriott Bonvoy Member exclusive dining privileges (applicable to Greater China)
  • Marriott Bonvoy® members (“Members”) are eligible to enjoy the following offers (collectively, the “Offer”):
    • Savings of up to 20% off eligible food and beverage charges at participating food and beverage outlets in properties operating under the Brand as defined below(“Participating Property”) in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan (“Participating Outlets”) (“Discount Offer”)
    • Members will be eligible to earn Marriott Bonvoy points in connection with eligible food and beverage charges at Participating Outlets (“Earning Points Offer”); and
    • Members may redeem Marriott Bonvoy points in connection with eligible food and beverage charges at selected Participating Outlets (“Selected Outlets”) (“Points Redemption Offer”).
  • In order to enjoy the Offer, you must be a Member and adhere to the General Terms of this program (which are available here). Marriott does not charge any fee to join Marriott Bonvoy Membership. To become a Member, please click here.
  • Members who are staying in a guest room of a Participating Property may enjoy the Discount Offer and earn points based on the earning rate applicable to each Brand when the bill from Participating Outlets are posted to the member’s guest room bill. For more program information visit www.marriott.com/loyalty/terms/default.mi#earn. If a member staying at a Participating Property chooses to pay the bill at Participating Outlets instead of posting the bill to the member’s guest room bill, they will earn points based on the Earning Points Offer.
  • Members who have not booked accommodation at a Participating Property can enjoy the Discount Offer and Earning Points Offer at Participating Outlets.

DISCOUNT OFFER
  • At Participating Outlets, Members and Silver Elite Members are eligible for a 10% discount; Gold, Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador Elite Members are eligible for a 20% discount.
  • The Discount Offer applies to eligible food and beverage charges only, as determined by Marriott and/or the respective Participating Outlet (as applicable) in their sole discretion.
  • If a Member elects to split the bill, the Discount Offer will be applied based on the membership level of the Member who is paying.
  • The Discount Offer is not applicable to charges for breakfast meals. Breakfast meals may be defined differently by Participating Outlets. Please contact the restaurant directly for any questions on how breakfast is defined.
  • The Discount Offer does not apply to corkage fee, cake cutting fee, service charge, taxes, gratuities, other non-food-and-beverage items (i.e. tobacco, retail products, etc.) or where otherwise prohibited by law (for example, in connection with alcoholic beverages, as determined by the policies of the relevant outlet).
  • The Discount Offer does not apply to seasonal or promotional menus, festive products (e.g. Mooncakes, Christmas Hampers), takeaways (except when Member is physically present and paying in the Participating Outlets), food deliveries, minibar, in-room dining, private dining rooms, or any booking in restaurant for more than 10 persons. The Offer does not apply to food and beverages served to contracted groups at events and outdoor catering bookings held in catering venues.
  • Members intending to receive the benefit of the Discount Offer must make a request to do so at the restaurant at the time of settling the bill, even if such Member requests to apply such charges to such Member’s room. The Discount Offer cannot be applied at the front desk or at any other time.
  • The Discount Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.
  • The Discount Offer will not apply on certain blackout dates. Blackout dates, e.g. New Year Eve, New Year Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, will be determined at the sole discretion of the Participating Outlets.
EARNING POINTS OFFER
  • Members who are not staying at the Participating Hotel where the transaction occurs may earn 5 points for every U.S. dollar spent on the total check of eligible food and beverage charges, including the corresponding taxes, service charge, and gratuities, as determined by Marriott and/or the respective Participating Outlet (as applicable) in their sole discretion.
  • Points are awarded on eligible USD or equivalent in local currency spent after applicable discount has been applied.
  • Only at Selected Outlets where Marriott Bonvoy Mobile App is required for posting of points, Elite bonus points are awarded on eligible charges incurred by the Member based on their Elite Status, in accordance with the terms and conditions of Marriott Bonvoy, as found here. If a Member elects to split the bill, the Earning Points Offer will be applied based on the membership level of the Member who is paying.
  • The Earning Points Offer may not be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion, except with the Discount Offer set out herein, discounts offered to Marriott associates and owners, or any charges settled by F&B vouchers sold on the WeChat Mini app.
  • Retail products (e.g. XO sauces, tea leaves, etc.), festive products (e.g. Mooncakes, Christmas Hampers), fees or any charges prohibited by law (for example, in connection with alcoholic beverages, as per the policies of the relevant Participating Outlet), takeaways (except when Members are physically present and paying in the Participating Outlets), and the corresponding taxes and service charge are not eligible for points earning.
  • The Offer does not apply to charges incurred at food and beverage outlets managed or operated by a third party, food deliveries and F&B certificate or voucher purchase. The Offer does not apply to food and beverages served to contracted groups at events and outdoor catering bookings held in catering venues.
  • The Offer only applies to transactions settled by cash, credit card, debit card, F&B vouchers sold on WeChat Mini app, or other applicable electronic payment, as well as Marriott Gift Card, when Membership Number is presented at time of payment. Marriott Bonvoy Points are offered at hotel’s discretion for charges settled by other F&B gift certificates or vouchers.
  • Any calculation in connection with the Earning Points Offer will be calculated at the sole discretion of Marriott. Spend amounts for the purposes of the Earning Points Offer will be based on the local currency amount after conversion to U.S. dollars. Local currency is generally converted into U.S. dollars on the day of posting of the points. Marriott will use a published rate of exchange in effect at the time of conversion, which rate will be determined at Marriott’s sole discretion, based on standard currency conversion methods. The method of conversion is subject to change at Marriott’s sole discretion.
  • It may take up to 7 business days after each patronage for points to be posted to a Member’s account. Members may contact Member Support, if after 7 business days, such points have not been posted in their accounts.
POINTS REDEMPTION OFFER
  • Members who are not staying at the Participating Hotel where the transaction occurs may redeem Marriott Bonvoy points at a rate of 200 Marriott Bonvoy points per US$1 to offset on the food and beverage charge at Selected Outlets only. Members must have the Marriott Bonvoy Mobile App to participate.
  • The Points Redemption Offer shall not be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion, except with the Discount Offer set out herein, or the discounts offered to Marriott associates and owners.
  • The number of Marriott Bonvoy points required for redemption is subject to a conversion rate from the local currency to U.S. dollars based on the redemption platform at the time of redemption, as determined by Marriott in its sole discretion.
  • The Points Redemption Offer is only applicable to eligible food and beverage charges, and the corresponding taxes, service charge and gratuities at Selected Outlets.
  • Food and beverage items eligible for points redemption vary by each Selected Outlet, but generally exclude seasonal menus, festive and retail products (e.g. Mooncake, Christmas Hampers), takeaways (except when Members are physically present and redeeming at Selected Outlets), charges from food and beverage outlets managed or operated by a third party, food deliveries, food and beverages served to contracted groups at events and outdoor catering bookings held in catering venues. Other exclusions may apply at the discretion of Marriott and/or the Selected Outlet.
  • Full redemption of the total outstanding bill (excluding charges that are ineligible for redemption) is required. The bill cannot be combined with other forms of payment. Partial redemptions of eligible items for redemption contained in a bill are not accepted.
  • All other charges which are not eligible for redemption hereunder, and the corresponding taxes and service charge must be settled separately with a valid form of payment.
  • Members redeeming points at Selected Outlets are required to show a valid ID in physical form with photo and full name, provided the name on such ID document must match the name of the Member on the Member’s Marriott Bonvoy account.
  • Examples of acceptable ID documents include driver's licenses, passports, national ID cards or such other identity documents issued by the relevant governmental authority. Copies of such ID documents, such as photos on a Member’s mobile phone, any other form of ID document in any digital form, any photocopies or scanned ID documents will not be accepted.
  • Failure to provide proper documentation will prevent members from enjoying Points Redemption Offer. Members may contact local Customer Support to assist in updating the name on their Accounts if needed.
  • Members must have the full amount of Marriott Bonvoy points in their account for the redemption of the total bill (excluding charges that are not eligible for redemption) at the time of redemption as they will be deducted from the account immediately.
  • Once Marriott Bonvoy points are redeemed, the transaction cannot be reversed.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  • Advanced reservations at Participating Outlets are encouraged but not compulsory.
  • In order to receive any of the benefits under the Offer, the Member needs to be present for the entirety of the meal and pay for all corresponding charges and a Member will not be able to receive any such benefits for charges made by persons other than such Member.
  • Where using a credit card, debit card or other applicable electronic payment, provided that the name on any such credit card or debit card or electronic payment method as the method of payment, in order to receive any benefit under the Offer, the name on any such credit card, debit card or electronic payment method must match the name of the Member on the Member’s Marriott Bonvoy account.
  • Any queries on discount calculation, points earning and points redemption must be raised immediately upon bill settlement at the restaurant. No amendment will be made thereafter.
  • The Offer is non-exchangeable, non-cashable and non-transferable.
  • These Terms and Conditions are subject to the interpretation by Marriott.
  • Void where prohibited by law.
  • To the extent permitted by law, Marriott reserves the right to make changes, corrections, cancellations and/or improvements to the Offer, and to the products, programs and term described in the Offer, at any time without notice, including after confirmation of a transaction.
  • Marriott and the applicable Participating Outlets do not accept any responsibility or liability for any faults or omissions in the operation of the Offer. Marriott and the applicable Participating Outlets shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly (including special, incidental, and consequential loss or damages) from the Members’ acceptance and use of the Offer.
  • In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English version and any translated version of these Terms and Conditions, the English language version shall prevail.

    • (B) Members may redeem Marriott Bonvoy points in connection with eligible food and beverage charges at selected Participating Outlets (“Selected Outlets”) (“Points Redemption Offer”).
